St. Mary School is back to the business of learning and we have a busy September schedule to report on.
A special thank you to the Knights of Columbus for sponsoring the food at our Back-to-School Picnic on August 31, 2023, and for Fr. Eric (our new pastor) for greeting everyone. It was the perfect way to start the school year!
Last week, we had picture day on Friday, September 8, 2023. Anyone who missed picture day should make sure get your picture taken on the retake day–October 20, 2023.
We celebrated Mary’s Birthday on Friday, September 8, 2023, the Feast of the Nativity of Mary—our schools namesake. Also, we recognized our Grandparents whose special Remembrance Day was Sunday, September 10, 2023.
On Thursday, September 14, 2023, we kicked off our World Famous Chocolate Fundraiser Sale that extends until October 3, 2023. Families will be selling chocolate bars after Masses for the upcoming weekends in September.
Welcome to the high school youth of Pastorate 13 who are meeting with Fr. Matthew and Fr. Vincent each Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at St. Mary School for continuing religious education. It is great having you in our building!
Looking ahead our first Home and School Meeting is Thursday, September 21, and our first Spirit Assembly and STEAM Day is Friday, September 22, 2023, at 8:05 a.m.
Finally, welcome to our thirteen new students and families who include: Skyler Bellomo, Amelia Bittorf, Sofia Knopp, Blakely Hanson, Serenity Lawrence, Gabriel Powell, Kaiden Powell, Rosabell Powell, Lydia Redden, Nash Schouten, Henley Schwenchner, and Josiah Villanueva.
