School Uniforms

Uniforms and Dress Code

Saint Mary School students (kindergarten to 8th grade) wear uniforms – this keeps students focused on education (and not clothes), helps maintain a level playing field, and enhances school unity.

Students’ attire needs to be modest, appropriate, and safe, and must comply with the dress code. The handbook has the details on what is allowed in terms of bottoms, tops, tights/leggings, shoes, and accessories.

Any uniform brand is acceptable. Bottoms / jumpers are khaki and tops are black, white, or royal / cobalt blue. To help make shopping easier, a link to stores with the name of the accepted blue color is listed below:

Uniform Exchange Program

Saint Mary School offers a uniform exchange program. If a uniform is no longer needed or no longer fits, the student’s family is welcome to donate it to the school closet, as long as the article of clothing is in very good condition. Families wishing to take advantage of this program are welcome to contact the school and then come in to choose what they need, subject to availability.

School Supplies

Updated school supply lists are provided to students at the end of the school year – so they and their families can gather supplies for the next school year over the summer.

Note – every student needs gym shoes!
